Kings Park Sunset Cinemas (moonlight Cinema now)

I have always been a huge fan of the Kings Park Sunset Cinema (in Perth) as it was first known, when i started going along.
Its now called the Moonlight Cinema.

Ive have Enjoyed many a evening with friends on our picnic blankets or bean bags, eating our tapas dinner & champers or wine, on the more summery nights & also rugging up on the wintery ones.

Watching Sweeney Todd, it was a chilly evening at the end of the season
I know you can go see movies at home or in the normal cinema but to be outside in the night are under a blanket of stars is just magical.

While i have been going for many many years with various groups of friends i always like introducing more to come along & enjoy a fantastic night, it has progressed since i first started going they now have bean bags hire (gold class area) & more food & drinks for sale.

Enjoying Rocky Horror Picture Show With my girlfriend & her daughter

I am a huge fan of musicals just ask any of my friends :-) especially those who have had to listen to me sing along to them hehe.
Well my point being, they regularly screen old classics like
Rocky Horror Picture Show
(a total classic) & people dress up & dance the time warp & sing along
I LOVE IT sooo cool.....

I think come summer i will have to organise a Girls night out at the Moonlight cinema,
maybe Breakfast at Tiffany's a Classic movie & dress the part ;-)

My Cello

I have been playing the Cello for about 12 years i think ?? I felt in love with it after i had been to a friend of mines Music School concert & there was a Cellist playing, i just loved it its was so beautiful, haunting & just spoke to me & instantly thought to myself i want to learn how to play a Cello. I Studied for a few years taking my exams practical & theory & passed with distinctions.

I know in particular when i was first learning to play my friends would give me grief but we all have to start somewhere, i think over the years i have progressed nicely. I haven't done exams for a long while, but simply just enjoy playing with my Friend the Music Teacher & by my self.

On a few occasions we have played to an audience, We joined the Churchlands community Orchestra for awhile it was enjoyable to play with such a large group of musicians rather than solo or duet.
A Churchalnds Community Orchestra Concert

We also had a little trio going for a while 3 cellos just for fun, and we have played a few various occasions ie birthday parties, a High Tea, hen's party & soon my mother's 60th.
All for free were not professionals, but its good experience and the people see to enjoy it :-)

I've come along away from hot cross buns.

New Lounge room ideas

We are in the process of building a new lounge Room onto the back of our house & the question of what decor should we go with in there has come up. We have decided to go Completely different from our front lounge room, we're thinking more urban/rural/country/rustic (i want quirky in there too).

Charcoal Polished concrete for dining & lounge room
The question has come up because we need to figure out what to do for flooring ????
The front of the house is all original Jarrah floor boards, & the back section is & will be concrete.
We have Been thinking about polished concrete for a long time, ever since friends of our in York built there house & did it through their whole house i loved it & it will go with the urban/ rural /country feel.

We have also decided that we want a huge Cowhide as a floor rug .
Wall Paper Image

Another idea would be to have a wall paper image on one of the walls. (maybe a bit too much??)

We will be moving our current lounge suite (mulberry leather 3 seater & 2 single seaters) into this back room.

& other than the taxidermed animals i want (hubby, not so sure) thats all the ideas for now...
catering to my musical side

But these are some of the animals i would love & also to dress them up :-)    God i love this monkey !!!
Like in the Wizard of OZ (Love It)!
